As a new business owner needing to make her name known, Amanda Rintala of Whole Health Results came to Boost Local looking to increase free consultation requests, convert more visits to new clients, and stand out from the crowd.

Brand Identity

Before working with Boost Local, the Social Graces brand was pretty well defined internally among studio staff — but their visual identity, voice, and core values that set them apart from competitors were outdated on their website and local business listings.

To help bring their dance studio to life online, our expert brand strategy team refocused the Social Graces Ballroom Dance Studio visual identity (aka logo, color palette, fonts, etc.) around one theme to ground their overall vibe.

We also polished their written voice to ensure the Social Graces Difference was front and center — a key to making sure future ballroom dance students can easily find out why they should choose Social Graces over that other dance studio down the road.

After conducting a conversion rate optimization (CRO) audit of the existing Social Graces website, our team found a few key issues that were not helping bring in new dance students:

  • Website was not fully usable on a mobile phone or tablet (aka not responsive)
  • Primary call-to-action (i.e. Contact Us, Book a Free Lesson) was not easily found by website visitors
  • Core values (aka “what makes us different from other ballroom dance studios”) were not front-and-center

Using the updated branding and findings from our CRO research, our professional web services team resolved the key issues, as well as remapped the website to be more user friendly and rewrote the copy to clearly communicate the Social Graces Difference.

BONUS: The new website copy is SEO friendly, so is primed to show up when future students search for a ballroom dance studio on Google or Bing.
